In addition, a solid strong connection makes our parallettes exceptionally stable and safe, so you can remain assured we have your back. The cross grain birch plywood not only gives it a great natural look but adds extreme rigidity and strength up to 150kg per unit. Each unit is able to rotate slightly so you can get the perfect level even on uneven floors.  The safety lock allows for only 5 degrees of rotation per bolt, so 10 degrees in total.   The 40mm thick grip is great for grip.  38mm is the parallel bar standard in gymnastics, so these are slightly larger and extra comfortable.  Wood is often used and preferred by gymnasts and calisthenics body weight trainers as it maximises grip even with sweaty hands and your hands natural oils will increase the grip over time.
